what is the material on the bottom of your bator? Mine was missing the tray and I am not sure what to use to make a new one....

LOL The BR baby looks SO big!

It's shelf liner, I believe, in her bator.

Yep, it's that rubbery, holey shelf liner. The BR is giant comparatively, but so was the egg it came out of. The Orp is almost zipped out of the egg now, so won't be long till all four are in the brooder today. And the BR has lots of black down the front of the legs, a good sign for a PULLET!

another question about the shelf liner...what is underneath it? I understand that I will need to bring up the humidity so do I put the liner on top of wet stuff?
