OMG Mark!!!! They are so beautiful!!!!! I know you are just going to love them so much!!!! Alright, I know NOTHING about them so I just gotta ask....the little NN with the black looking feathers, black skin, and feathered feet....is she a showgirl? Cause she looks like a NN Silkie to me (as I said, I know nothing about them though) and isn't that what a showgirl is? Whatever they are, they are all just perfect!!!!Congratulations!!!

I have some NN babies in the order I am getting next week and I just can't wait. I used to think they were ugly....OH MY!!! Now I just adore them?!!!!

but yup yup nope no show girls

i have never gotten chicks in so many colors before

this is what i have....

Both NNF eggs ( Naked Neck Frizzle ) both eggs hatched one was a NN and the other was a feather neck.. the feather neck was the deformed chick that died

Both BNN eggs ( Bantam Naked Neck ) Both eggs hatched... one is a NN and the other is a feather neck but a BRIGHT Silver color

2 Naked Necks hatched from brown Frizzle eggs

i also have 2 Normal frizzles

and the 2 mutt chicks

Yaay for Naked Necks!
They all came from blue, splash, or black hens.

You know the chicks from the F eggs are blue and black Frizz hens w/ lemon blue Cochin roo.

The NNF eggs were from the blue green-egger hens w/ splash NN Frizz roo. I'd bet that's your splash NN chick --- is she bigger than the others?

The eggs marked BNN were from little blue, splash, or black Naked Neck hens and no clue who is responsible for fertilizing the eggs. Possibilities are NN Cochin roo, NN Silkie roo, Serama roo. They are separated now, but it was a big 'mixed pen'.

All of them EXCEPT the ones from the Frizzle pen have a chance (a slim chance) of being silkie-feathered --- because they all have Silkie somewhere in their background (all my Naked Necks started as Turken x Silkie crosses).
The hens are all regular feathered, but could be carrying the silkie feather gene. Paired with a roo that is carrying the silkie feather gene, they could have silkie feathered chicks.

yea i have atleast 2 chicks with that silkie look to them so i will wait and see how there feathers turn out

my family was over and they just LOVE the chicks all the colors and they are in love with the bright splash NN chick they called her pearl

that's her name Pearl

and yup she looks a little bigger than the rest

i am soo happy i got not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 NN chicks out your eggs
