You don't need a Kindle to read a Kindle book. There are Kindle reading apps for just about every device known to man. I read this book yesterday on my computer.

Yup. I have a Kindle but I don't always carry a purse so sometimes I read on my phone, say while waiting at the DMV or doctor's office, and sometimes I read on the computer at home or work (shhhh).
