Ondura panels for coop

Someone was just noting how bad these were (not very long lasting). Can’t remember who… they had used some in an outdoor project and they did not last
That was me. DO NOT DO IT. Ondura panels crrumble and don't last in extreme environments. They get very brittle when cold, they need constant repainting to protect from UV, and because they expand and contract as much as they do, you need oversized holes for all your screws to allow movement. Too small, the edge of the screw starts a crack at the hole. Too large, it leaks. Overtighten, starts a crack. Undertight? Leaks.

But just look at the crumbled corners of the panels sitting on display in the home store, our out back behind the store, and its pretty obvious why they are nothing but a very short term investment.

Better to use the wave profile metal sheets, if that's what you want to do - as cheap, sometimes cheaper - lasts longer, same construction method (and some of the same issues, only less tendency to crack. Also, the sheets are a LOT lighter - particularly as the wave profile tned to be "economy grade", meaning very thin.
