One chicken left

Don't give up hope that the other two may still be alive. When my dog attacked my chickens, she killed quite alot of them, and it was heart-breaking, each time I found another dead. I was missing one when I had looked everywhere possible.
She showed up one week later- thirsty with a pale comb-but not injured. I have no idea where she had been.

There is a good possibility of infecting your new flock with a disease or with mites, parasites etc by doing that.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! My neighbor (the one without the dog) will be taking her in for a while. She says that she has a special area she can set aside in her coop so that my hen can get used to her's. Then I guess I am starting over with a new batch. And to answer the question about deterring the dog again, Colorado has a law that states if a dog(s) is endangering livestock, we have the right to shoot the dog(s). I am a pretty good shot and I got the sherriff involved to not only explain to him my situation, but to let the neighbors with the dog know that if I see the dog on my property again, I will shoot it. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs but not when they are destroying my family.
