One copy of Dominate White and one copy of Dun?

Do you think the mother carries a copy of dun also? What about her that makes you think she also carries blue? Do you have any idea what the father is? Why is he so yellow? I did consider that he is golden, but I could not figure out what he would have come from to create that. I suspected dom white because the woman I them from had a porcelean roo and white birds. She said he was the one that jumped the fence to get to other hens.

the black chick is the one you can only see from behind. He looks much blacker in person. What color does dun begin as?

She is either chocolate or khaki (1 vs 2 copies of dun); I cannot say for certain which, but suspect she carries two copies.

Because father shows black in the tail; therefore he almost certainly does not carry blue (unless it is very heavily melanized, making the blue look black); since the chick is blue (the one with grey down), it muxt come from somewhere.

In the last photo, the chick on the left looks khaki; the one on the right looks blue. In the previous photo, it also looks blue. The chick who looks to have white & dun may have a pattern? Really hard to say at this point (at least for me--I'm still scrambling to learn chick down). I do know that there are a LOT of changes between chick down and adult plumage.

Not sure what you mean? Chick down? You have it if that is your question. In two variations

In the pictures I posted of the chicks there appears to be blue. It is much darker in life. I dont think the lighter one is blue. I think its dun. It looks like the mother and very unlike any blue chick I have had.

I would really like to know the genetics of the father. I entered what was suggested in the calculator and it did not add up to what I have.

I don't the chicks are abnormal colors. I would like to interpret their colors to tell the colors of the sire.
