One day old chick throwing head back?

My sisters broody hen just had a single chick hatch. The little guy just doesn't seem right. He sort of looks normal for a minute or two then he will throw his head back and bobble it around. He came from a shipped eggs. What could cause this? I'm concerned about disease since this isn't my hen and her birds have been exposed to the chick now.

First thing I would do is give it vitamin supplements - this is usually a sign of a deficiency. Look up "wry neck" under symptoms, see if it fits, and follow the advice.

Please be careful if you use vitamins/electrolytes...I lost ALOT of day old chicks because of it.
