One of my hen hatched some fertilized eggs given by friends. One of the chicks is white, while the other four are pure black. They were just born yesterday. We found that the white chick was pecked in the afternoon.Helpless chick covered in blood standing beside his mothe.Considering that the murderer may be another hen we put them into the cage, did some emergency treatment to the little one.At that time, we were not convinced that which hen did it. We tried to take the chick away from the hen, but it was seriously stressed, and finally we chose to let the chick stay with the mother overnight.
Everything is normal this morning. But at noon, we found that the chick was expelled from the henhouse and was more seriously injured and the hen with other four chicks(one of them is alomost blind, but the hen still took care of it.) were happily looking for food. This time we realized that the hen did not accept it because of its color.
Now we have decided to raise this chick alone, but we still can't determine the amount of medicine used to treat the wound(what if use terramycin?). And its stress is still serious. What should we do next?

I’m so sorry to hear this about your chick! Is there any way you could get another chick to keep it company? Or maybe a white hen to look out for it?

Is the wound is still bleeding? If so apply pressure to the wound and try to stop the bleeding with paper towels. If it is not bleeding, then try to apply a chicken wound care spray you can buy it at Tractor Supply I like the brand Vetericyn. Since the chick is very stressed I would get a heating pad or something warm and put it in a dark room with the chick so it can get some rest and calm down. If it is bleeding and you got it to stop and you should also apply the chicken wound care spray. Is the eye injured? If you can get some better pictures of the face that would be helpful too.

Thanks for your advise. It is not bleeding now and I think its eyes wasn't injured(the eyeballs were observed),but I am not sure with the nose.It has been crying painfully for hours and very resistant to medication.

It seems to be doing better. I would definitely spray the chicken wound care spray on there (try not to get it in its eyes). I would also add electrolytes into the water there is a particular brand called "Save a Chick". Try to keep it calm, I still suggest putting it in a dark room with something warm.

Definitely looks much more as attempt of henicide than as the work of a mouse.

The little fluffy bottoms are harder than it seems. They can heal injuries fast with a little of love, some touches of antiseptic here and there, food and a heat source

I would add the almost blind one for company.
