One day old gosling can’t walk.

Here are the stages so far
He has come a long way from not being able to lift his head and use either feet or legs to bring Mobile. Still wobbly but that’s to be expected. He now tucks his own feet under him and can stretch them out them bring back under
It’s his neck I really worry about. It is twisted and his crop sits to the right abd when he eats it really throws him off balance. Hopefully with growing this will help. He is now 8 day’s old
Hope these help you
Sorry about all the talking in them I tend to talk to him a lot lol
Oh it’s so sad to see a cute animal be so sick and struggle. He really has come a long way from the first video. He may never walk perfect but he walks pretty good for how he started. One of my first hens never was able to walk right but she lived for years and could get around on her knees.

Agree with @Goosebaby that it appears to be the umbilicus. If it's bleeding, I'd put antibiotic ointment without pain reliever on it to prevent infection.

Can you upload a video of your little one trying to get around? I'd like to see how s/he moves, mechanically. Based on what you've described, it seems like a possible vitamin deficiency, but it would really help to see him or her move around.
It is her belly button. It isn’t bleeding anymore and it never bled a lot. I am giving her vitamins and niacin so if it’s anything with a vitamin deficiency, she should be getting what she needs then. How do you upload a video?

None of the other goslings have any ounce of sickness so it isn’t contagious right? She does breath pretty fast but she isn’t like sneezing or anything like a respiratory problem

If you listen to her up close she makes this clicking sound when breathing but no other signs of any issues. I don’t think she is sick sick because she is a little better today and can actually semi walk around somewhat.

Because you didn’t hatch her it’s hard to know if it was an issue at hatch or developing or genetics
Time will tell
Keep giving the vitamins and do the water therapy for her legs even if you keep fingers under her belly to help her
If you are already seeing improvements no natter hoe small that’s a step in the right direction :)

Well she is pooping now so it is getting better. She isn’t eating much but she will nip at the syringe when it has water in it. She is starting to able get more motion in her legs. I believe she is getting more strength and she has one hell of a personality. Obviously she isn’t even half way there but it’s only been two days and since when I got her she couldn’t even stand and now she can stumble/walk about 2 feet then sit down and get up again to move a little while later again.

I feed and water mine every two hours
The first few days when he couldn’t stand I would tuck his legs under his belly where they should go and have him cupped in my hand
I would then move him from water to food and he did both on his own with me holding him
Once he gained leg strength and could stand I could cup a hand on each side so if he started to fall I would be there. Now I sit back and make sure as he still falls at times and struggles to get back up.
I know not everyone has time to do this
I am lacked of sleep big time but me making sure he eats abd drinks is why he keeps getting better. He wouldn’t be able to get what he needs without the help
The scrambled eggs with vitamin E on it are really important and that’s when I saw the bigger improvements.
I never used a syringe to feed or water him he knew what to do he just couldn’t stand on his own to get it
Maybe try this way and see if she will eat and drink more

She will drink on her own but the eating is the stubborn part. I am obviously getting her some nutrients from the egg since she is pooping brown, even if it is liquid poop. Liquid is better than nothing!!!

Have you tried hobbles for your gosling? They can hold the legs in proper alignment so she can walk properly.
She was walking really good last night and now she is back to day one and I don’t know what to do. She is still pooping brown with bubbles so it’s not like she has something bacterial or anything like that. I am just so upset and don’t know what more to do. Last night she walked over 6 feet to get to me and know she can’t stand or walk again.
