Could it be spraddle leg? I just helped a chick with that. One thing to try is to splint her legs. Some people say to do it with a Bandaid, but I used a chenille stem and a straw. Cut the straw to the approximate length that should be between her legs. Wrap one end of the chenille stem around one of her legs and slide the piece of straw onto it. Pull her legs together so that one is at one end of the straw and the other is at the other end of the straw. Last, wrap the other end of the chenille stem around the second leg and cut the chenille stem (if you need to). Just make sure that she can't poke herself on the ends of the stem. This might take two people depending on how much she trusts you. I did it by myself with my chick, but she was easy because she trusted me.She is only a day old. Everyone thought she was going to die so I got her for free. She is a firecracker. She isn’t sick like gasping for breath or anything like that. Her legs are just sprawled and can’t walk. She kicks her legs and tried to move around. She can somewhat move around on her belly. I really like her so I want to save her. How can I do that?
The position of her knees doesn’t look too abnormal, a few of mine sat like that when they were little too.You can see how her knees are on either side of her and not like more under herView attachment 3055350
Last night I found some of my niacin capsules so I gave her some from a syringe, even though I got a niacin bath. She survived the night and is able to hold up her strength just a little to lift herself up for a few steps then lay down again. The position of her knees doesn’t look too abnormal, a few of mine sat like that when they were little too.
The other picture is too unclear to say for sure but I’m guessing it is her belly button.
That’s horrible but I am glad he made it. It wouldn’t hurt to look at the videos because I am not a hundred percent sure what she has. I don’t believe it’s a sickness like a respiratory or parasite because she has no other symptoms other than the weakness in her legs and a little in her neck. I have her brother and he is perfectly healthy. They thought she was dying so I got her for free but she made it through the night. She isn’t eating on her own so I am feeding her liquid egg and some waterfowl food in water. She can walk a few steps and then lays down again but it’s better than yesterday.Hi
I’m not sure if it’s the same as my duckling but mine has a twist in his neck
His egg has air cells at both ends and didn’t know this till he hatched. He had hardly any room to grow and resulted in his bone density being lower then normal. This caused weakness ( we had x rays done at a vets to see if there was leg deformities )
Mine has been a work in progress and still is but we work on it everyday
I was told not to wrap him as he needs to use his legs to gain strength. I would sit with him tucking his kegs under him how he would be and after a few days he started to put them under him. He can walk a little bit still falls over a lot so I feed abd water him every 2 hours to make sure he is getting proper feed and water
I started him on vitamin B complex and nutridrench rubbed on his beak then a drink of water. I now add some to his water nice a day
He Audi gets scrambled egg with a vitamin E causal opened on it. I spread it over a little bit of egg and make sure he eats that first then give the rest of the egg to him. He needs chick grit with the eggs. I put nutritional yeast in his feed a little more then the regular amount needed. We have swim therapy a few times a day. At first I would have to hold him as he would go in tight circles to the left now he can swim this helps the legs get strong without the weight on them.
I have videos of day 1 to day 7 On his progress I could upload and put if you want to compare

It’s no worries about the talking. I baby talk and kiss all my animals, even the iguana and boa! Here are the stages so far
He has come a long way from not being able to lift his head and use either feet or legs to bring Mobile. Still wobbly but that’s to be expected. He now tucks his own feet under him and can stretch them out them bring back under
It’s his neck I really worry about. It is twisted and his crop sits to the right abd when he eats it really throws him off balance. Hopefully with growing this will help. He is now 8 day’s old
Hope these help you
Sorry about all the talking in them I tend to talk to him a lot lol
