So glad the wee one is doing so well. You followed your instincts and saved a struggling creature that would have surely died otherwise. IMHO, that's the very best thing we can aspire to. Nicely done -

My husband would kill me if I got another dog...LOL So I think I just have to live with that inconsistency.....

He also said - when I first took The Wee One in -- that it's typical for me to set myself in situations where I'm bound to have my heart broken --- he meant that this chickie would probably die despite all my efforts...
I said to him that you can try your best and get your heart broken rather than not try and then kick yourself for not even trying.... Only this time, it seems trying did the trick!

I also just realized our chicken count went from 7 to 16 in two weeks....... uh, oh......
