One hen eating another's egg before we can get it!

We had thought one of our girls was laying broken shell eggs, but this morning we caught another hen breaking it and starting to eat it. What can we do to prevent this other hen from getting to her egg before we do or curbing the desire to do this?

Check the feed your using. Egg eating is generally caused from inadequate diet. Darken the Coop. Or get roll away nest boxes.

We are using high protein quality feed, Nutrena Nature Wise Hearty Hen 16% pellet, and they free range 50% of the time.

Up the protein to the feed. Certain hens require higher protein feed.

Put some golf balls in there.Or use a syringe to take out the yolk from the egg and put some hot sauce in there.Some hens will start eating eggs for no reason.

She also only does this to this one hen's egg. The others lay and their eggs are never bothered, but we constantly find this one's broken. There were other eggs in there...
