My whatsit (allegedly a Americana... named Blackberry aka Chicken) and light Brahma (Butter)

So my question is all of my hens are about the same age (allegedly I got them within a week of each other at 6 weeks). And I'd put them at 18 weeks. The Wellsummer (Waffle) up and gave me her first egg yesterday. What's the vote on Blackberry... have I got a ways to go? I think so.

I think the waddles on the Butter are looking promising but am not expecting anything any time soon

I have heard that Brahmas can be slower and at times closer to 7 months or more before they start laying. Easter Eggers can be start early but I agree should be laying by 24 weeks (at least based on my research).

I think I might just might be able to wait that long... but I might go a little nutty with the waiting.

My Easter Egger started at 18 weeks. Comb really came in about 2-3 weeks before she laid. By the looks of yours...you might have a little while yet. Pretty birds though. Same goes for the Brahma. :)

Thanks! That's what I suspected. My little welsummer keeps plocking along with the cutest little egg every day or so. I suppose I can work on having patience...
