One lonely chick (feather duster are you my momma)?

I have a Uno too (real name Lone Ranger) but she/he has a teddy bear instead. It is no longer with mom (their are 12 chicks that are a couple weeks older) because she was mean.

Hello, Uno Is Doing Great- We Have 14 Eggs In Bator- Candled Them Last Night- All Look Good But One. One Has What Looks Like Spots Everywhere. Think Its A Bad Egg....any Advice? I Promise I Will Try And Upload Pics 2 Nite When I Get Back Home. Thanks Again For Everyones Input! Never Knew All This Could Be So Fun! Our Chocolate Lab Doesnt Understand Why "momma" (me) Is Talking So Cute To This Little Thing. He Comes A Running Whenever I Talk To Uno. He Just Sits And Watches Uno Run Around In His Little Pin (basket With Chicken Wire Covering It) He Outgrew The Auquarium We Had Him In Already. Wow They Grow Fast. Hopefully He Will Have Friends In Couple Weeks.

To tide you over in till they post pictures, my Lone Ranger:

Ok Folks here is one I took today while I was cleaning out his pen area. He/she is three weeks old. I have tried to get a pic of him peaking out from feather duster but when he sees or hears me he gets excited and pops out so..... I will try to do more soon. We have 8 more days til the 14 in the bator are due to hatch. Yippiee !

When my Peeps was hatched, he was a lonely only. I gave him a little terry cloth covered stuffed duck. He would sit on it and cuddle with it. Then I got Wellesly, a Welsummer a few days older -- put them in together but left the ducky...they BOTH loved it. Now, Wellesly and Peeps are the chief chicks in a bigger brooder -- 3 Blue Ameracauna chicks, 12 Marans chicks, 1 Cuckoo Maran, 1 Turkey poult...and they ALL love the duckie. Anytime you look in the brooder there are 3 or 4 cuddling with it -- and Wellesly at 4 weeks is the cutest little momma to them. She will even hover a couple babies or let them sleep on her back... I just think it's cute that they still love Duckie even though there are LOTS of chicks for them to buddy with.
