One of my chicks just died...

One of my chicks just passed away... it was a super tiny Wyandotte that just wasn't as active as the others... I watched her die... she had a spasm and that was it... I feel like I'm doing all of the right things and I'm not quite sure why she died... probably gonna get another chick or two in the morning... so sad that she passed. I really hope I'm not doing anything wrong...

I am so sorry about your loss. The sad fact is that even when we do everything right, sometimes chicks die. From the sounds of it, this little one was not thriving - and there can be many reasons for that.

I am very sorry to hear that. Its tough losing baby chicks, or baby animals for that matter. I used to breed rabbits and I lost baby bunnies all the time. I know how it feels.

Anyway, I havent raised chicks for that long, but I know that sometimes this happens with chicks. What causes it, I dont know.
