One of my Peking Duck's Beak has a Scab Like Growth - Help Needed

Oh man you can see in his eyes that he’s not feeling well at all.
He needs to see an avian vet immediately.
I’m not one to rush to the vet every time there is a problem but in this case you really need to do it.
That’s not some simple infection,
Sorry, an antibiotic cream is not going to cut it.
That’s a tumor
Hello,
The scabbing started higher up on his face above the beak and that area healed up after applying antibiotics. This gave me optimism that the antibiotic was working. Now it is down on the beak and progress has halted. I applied antifungal today and will watch a few days for any progress. If none, on to the vet.

We took Gimpy to the vet yesterday. The vet said it was a bacterial infection or a fungus growth. She pulled as much of the scab off as possible and examined a specimen under a microscope. She said both bacteria and fungus were present and prescribed antibiotic pills and a fungicide solution. Here is Gimpy with most of the scab
pulled off.

Perhaps try an antibacterial or antifungal ointment? I would see a vet if possible. So sorry!

Thanks for your interest.
