*I think Gersbud nailed it. You guys just have some exceptionally smart chickens. A couple pieces of hen-warmed horse pucky would allow the moms a few moments extra off the nest everyday, or give those eggs extra warmth if it's still chillin' where you live!!

Well yesterday afternoon 2 eggs where making noises and at bed time we had one yellow chick this moring there is a silver/ gray chick

one more of her eggs to go. Should I take them away from her so she wiil still sit on the duck eggs

She will continue to set another 2 or 3 days and then abandon the nest. Can you put the duck eggs in an incubator or do you have another broody? Not a good idea to put chicken and duck eggs under a broody...too much of a time difference. Good luck! Congrats on the chicks!!!!
