X2!I would personally try the water test. Get hot water in a glass big enough for 1 egg. Float each egg in the water, wait till the water is still, then look for ripples to indicate the chick is moving.
There are videos on You Tube. Do each egg.
One time my chicken abandoned her eggs two days before they were going to hatch. I didn’t have an incubator and left them in the nest box for 4 days before I had time to open them up. I cracked open three and they were dead. However the fourth one I cracked open in the same way you would crack an egg into a pan and the inner membrane with a chick inside fell out of the egg. I noticed the slightest movement and the chick was still alive. She had already absorbed the yolk but didn’t have energy to hatch. I gave her plenty of attention and she grew up to be a healthy, happy bird.No I haven’t unfortunately. I tap them and listen. Turn them over every day. They were not sat on for about theee days straight. Mom had one hatch and abandoned the rest. Light test shows chickens in all of them. I feel sad that I’m probably incubating a bunch of dead babies
This is not ideal but if they don’t pip in the next day or so you could try poking a tiny hole in the air sack to see if they are moving. Just make sure not to dry out the membrane.@EastIndie that’s interesting. I wish I knew exactly how old each egg was. It would suck if they were ready to hatch just too weak and I left them. Then again I’d hate to help them hatch too early and kill them
