Chico, BPR roo has been crowing since about 6-7 weeks.... Anyway this morning he was up and really non stop so we took him inside our house.

Is Chico the one in the first photo, inside the house? Because that comb doesn't look right to me. Male, yes. Barred Plymouth Rock, maybe not.

About Carmella who crowed today: probably male. Late-developing cockerels are common. Crowing pullets are rare.

The Blue Plymouth Rocks are Hei Hei and Pio Pio

Olive Eggers are Chico and Mary Poopins

Black Laced Red Wyandotte’s are Captain Marvel and Carmella who will have to become Carmen lol It must be said I have an 8 year old son.

A total new world for us. We have been enjoying them all very much.
