One thing I Love about ducks is...

my cayagus stay in the green houses during the winter and when it snowing out side it seems they just really like it especialy on those days when i set my self down on the green house floor and cut them some fresh
oat grass from one of the earth boxes, i keep growing for them..

They JUST all huddle around waiting me to toss them some and be fore long there sticking their heads in the earth box to-- and i cant get nothin done..
those times when its snowing out and every thing so quiet.. well next morning the place is just full of fresh eggs to pick up every duck in the house has laid a egg that morning .

The worse the weather is, the happier they are. Sometimes it is not much fun to go tend the ducks in cold strong wind and heavy rain, but the ducks are always having a party when I get there.

No matter how quiet I am or loud their being they always hear me open the back door fire up the water hose and listen for my wagon wheels in the morning and are so excited to see me, also when they thought you were a monster for months then all the sudden fall back in love with you that's priceless.

When I yell "time for bed" 9 out of 10 times they come running and go right up the ramp into their house

When I yell "time for bed ladies" and they stand quietly behind something and just watch me (as if I couldn't see them bahaha!). If they aren't ready for bed they are hard to corral!

I love the joy they display when swimming, the victory laps after Duck Love, the quiet gabbling as they talk to each other, and I even laugh at their late night Duck Joke Fests.

Quack, QUACK quack quackquackquack quack!

Sometimes they hold Duck Drum Circle sessions, billing the sides of their plastic kiddie pool.

Mine are Cayugas, so they are Ninja Stealth Ducks at night, totally invisible. If only they could keep from talking to each other as they traverse the yard, mostly single file.

Then there is the head tilt whenever a plane passes overhead. Well, anything, but it's funniest when it's a plane.

Haha "ninja stealth". Only one of my cayugas stayed completely black. And when I look into their house to check up on them I sometimes can't see her. The other day I videoed her quickly taking a dip in the black rubber pan. When I watched it the light was just right so you almost couldn't see her.

when they cock their head and look at you with one eye. Also they are cheeky, who else can do something like poop or try and eat it and then give you the what? it looked like food look and still be cute
