I have six chickens, all born in April.
Some of them started laying about three weeks ago. Just delightful!
I usually get three eggs each day.

Today I got two normal eggs, and one tiny egg.
I wonder if this means one of the last holdouts is beginning to lay?

Most likely, yes, but it is also possible one of the birds already laying just had an off day and through a wonky egg. At three weeks into production it is still fairly common to get some pretty wide fluctuation in size, etc. That said, I would lean towards a new girl joining the laying party!

Thanks for the reply. I just found the FAQ on "fart eggs" and that seems quite likely.
Love those girls.

Chickens are nice little pets, that give you a present every day : )

I'm new to this chicken thing so I'm no expert but when my hens first started laying (last week), the eggs were pretty small and continue to be somewhat small but getting larger.
