And of my 37 chicks I brought home, 37 are still alive!!! My first week has been quite a learning experience. Thank you all for your suggestions. We are now on fermented feed, have got the light/heat situation figured out (or at least not so bent out of shape about it!), have upgraded to bigger waterers, and chicks are getting big! We did find two yesterday morning trapped under the plastic Tupperware dish their food was in. We got them cleaned off and dry and got the (now 2) dishes glued to a piece of 1x6 so this won't happen again. Thank you all again for your suggestions!
