One week old chicks

I have 2 one week old baby chicks and one don’t want to eat or drink anything is there any tips we have also tried dipping the beak in the water and tried putting the food in its mouth but it don’t eat it we use the sugar water as well

First thing to check for is pasty butt.. which is dried on poo blocking the vent.

Is it alert or lethargic? Are they warm enough?

When required.. holding the chick in the hand with beak facing forefinger and drip water just below the nostrils, use the bend in forefinger to help direct the drop and mouth together, and chick will gobble and swallow as it rolls into the mouth.. there is less risk of aspiration this way than dipping.

Are you sure it's not eating/drinking when you aren't seeing it? Is it mad peeping like it's hungry or otherwise uncomfortable?
