Personality: Wiley, calculating, and wise. Highly intelligent and a strategic planner. Knows the law of living alone and has mastered every fine detail of the life of a rogue jack. Is a fastidious planner- nothing is ever impromptu with Otaktay. Vengeful mastermind- probably the most intelligent of any equine within thousands of miles. Independant and guile, but has taken the outcasted Flood under his wing. Though he may act gruff, he actually enjoys Flood's company and will always be there for him. Extremely tenacious and formidable in battle- because of his mastered secrecy, one will never know what his next move will be. He has no problem whatsoever with defeating stallions four times his size. A devious schemer- is taking immense malevolent satisfaction in assisting Flood's ultimatum plan to confiscate vengeance on the herds.

Description of bodily attributes: Short, scruffy black mane that is prickly to the touch- the sane for his tail. Stocky and muscular, but he can still outrun the majority of horses- a stunning feat because of his short strides. A stereotypical jack burro.

History: Otaktay was born an innocent foal of Valley Herd with the discriminating name "Runt".
This acclamation was only the trickle of a raging flood of everlasting heartbreak.
Loathed and scorned solely because of his puny size, his parents disowned him, mortified that they had borne a seeming-weakling of a colt. His own father insisted upon immediate banishment and the lead stallion of Valley Herd reluctantly agreed after many moons of verbal and physical battles. Runt was hopelessly shattered on that fateful day when his own father chased him off into the foreboding wilderness. From that first hoofstep out of Valley Territory, Runt, now a bitter and cold colt who forced himself to have already passed his innocent colthood, swore merciless revenge on all and any equine who had anything to do with his cruel banishment. For many seasons, he survived only by his immense cunning and wary, plotting and scheming. His maniacal mind was his companion and mentor.
One moonlight night, he soundlessly murdered both his father and his mother as the result of a meticulously-planned out trap-
The trap of a malevolent mastermind.
As his father breathed his last breath, Otaktay stole his disbelieving gaze, laced with innocent constetnation, and muttered, "Remember me, Father. For I am now Otaktay, the one who has finally gotten what he has seeked."
Otaktay then became a content rogue, having fulfilled his quest for complete revenge, living my his own rules and none else. But when he stumbled upon the banished, nameless colt with a story of befuddling ironicy, Otaktay knew it was time to begin grazing in a new plain of revenge. He brought young Flood up, teaching him everything he knew and sharing the sacred secrets to survival. Now Otaktay is the sole equine who Flood knows he can trust with his life. Otaktay will be there by his side, no matter what, in all his trials, torment, and turmoil.
And especially his vengeance.
