stupid post office!! The SS eggs they missent from shellyga all have detached air cells. HELLO!!! Can we say FRAGILE boys and girls?

OMG! I know what you mean! I put this package of eggs on the counter at the post office. All over the entire surface is marked FRAGILE in bold black letters. So the lady asks me, " Anything fragile, liquid, or perishable in there?" DUH!!!

Can they even read? I doubt it.

I sent 5 boxes yesterday. I did the carrier pick-up so I wouldn't have to guess when he'd be coming through to deliver the mail. So he comes to the door and decides he's going to pack all 5 boxes to his truck on his own. He wasn't even off the porch before he starts juggling them, almost dropping 2 in the process. I told him 'hey, every one of those boxes are eggs, I'd rather help you with them than have you drop them if you don't think you can manage'....He finally got a grip on them and quit trying to juggle

Probably tossed them in a bin once he got to the P.O. though...stupid post office

HOWEVER I HAVE GOOD NEWS!

I got some BR and possible RP mix turkey eggs and Mille cochin project eggs from Soggy bottom a while back, three of the milles made it to lockdown but one just pipped to early...

The other two are in the bator today on their

due date! I do have a question though, can you tell a milles sex by their color? Cause the one that didnt make it was real dark in color and the two in the bator are much much lighter, in fact one is nearly yellow with markings and the other in a tan with markings but the one that hatched too early was like dark dark brown/black with yellow markings. Any thoughts on that? Oh and once I get em out of the bator tomorrow I will try to get some baby pics cause I know you all will want some haha.

The bantam cochins I got from Soulsong are hatching! 2 have hatched, 4 have pipped, 1 seems dead and 1 hasn't pipped yet!. I think she sent 18 eggs!!! It may only be 33%, but that's the best hatch rate I've gotten on shipped eggs this year.

not lookin too good for the milles, they had trouble hatching out and i had to help them, they looked good for a while but one seems to have issues with its intestines, it looks as though it might be the yolk or something, it is gross, he is still up and about and seems fine but that just isnt normal so that one may not make it and the other, somehow managed to take a dive in the water.... dunno how. So it got all wet. i hope it makes it though. They are adorable and i cant wait for them to grow up!

SO ANYWAYS!!!!! CALLING ALL POLISH OWNERS! I know a gal who buys chickens and stuff from me, she is looking for some polish eggs, who has some for sale????
