My eggs made it to cityslickers! The box was smashed

With FRAGILE all over it! But, there was not even 1 broken egg!

I have had a couple of boxes marked "fragile" and "hatching eggs" or "live embryos" smashed up by the PO, so lately I havn't been marking the packages. I really don't know if it is true or not that some po employees purposly destroy fragile marked boxes for fun. Once, the PO hand delivered the eggs I ordered to me and they had suspended it carefully in a tote because they saw that it was hatching eggs and they didn't want anything to happen to them. It's hard to know how to mark or if you should mark the boxes at all.

My post master told me not to mark the box fragile because to many people think it is fun to try to hear whats inside break, and usually most people do not buy insurance, so they do not file claims, No one ever knows how these boxes are treated then.

I think I am going to stop marking them Fragile and see how they do. It probably is tempting when they see that it is something fragile. Some people........... just seem to amaze me, of how inconsiderate they can be.

Hopefully cityslickers has a good hatch. They are already under the broody.

I was contacted by the second shipper and she said she would reship and that someone else had shipped them for her, so here's hoping!
