I've been watching for something else I couldn't resist to offer pastel/blue fawn calls. But now my blue fawn hen went broody and I think the pastel is still laying in that nest. I need to get this figured out.

Which breeds can you not resist? LOL You can PM me...although I doubt I am lucky enough to have any of them.

The breeds I can't resist are the ones that probably wont be "traded" by anyone. Calico cochins, Iowa blues, bantam faverolles, orloffs, houdans . . . I think that's about it. I'll see what I can get rounded up for pastel eggs, I see she booted the blue fawn off the nest and is laying an egg in there this morning. I'll need to mark them and check everyday.

What are hard for me to resist are silkies that are better quality than mine. I'm always looking to improve my flock and bring in new blood. Duck eggs and I would love to find some Gambel quail and Georgie Giant Bob White. Right now I nave limited space so I try to choose carefully. All I have to offer right now are silkie and sizzle eggs.

That great thing about him is that he will almost always throw a Turken chick even with a fully feathered hen. I am trying to keep the chicks large so, he is in with the REALLY large hens now. His chicks almost always have nice bowties or bibs. (Unless I throw in a true NN hen, then the chicks are kinda ugley...in a cute way of course. I have done this a few times before I learned better
