They were bigger. Average dressed weight was 5.11 pounds. I had several that were 6 3/4 pounds and a bunch a 6's. I did everything the same as Spring. I used the same feed, same tractor, same length of life (8 weeks) and got the chicks from the same place (Meyer). The only difference was weather. In spring, the weather was in the 70's everyday the last 3 weeks of raising them. This batch, temps averaged about 55. Only comparing a Spring and one Fall batch a few more times will determine if weather had anything to do with it. :dunno
