Only one chicken left - what to do?

We started out with 3 chickens (we have had them for several years), until one died earlier this year from EYP and we recently found another dead in the coop after being away on a trip. This means we only have one chicken left, who was at the bottom of the pecking order. We intend to hopefully get some new chickens so that she is not lonely, but this raises the question of how can I reduce her stress until then? Do you recommend chicken diapers so that i can keep her in the house for longer stints, or do I put a radio in the run for background noise, or any other suggestions? Thank you

Sorry you lost two of your flock. I'm sure others will have more advice. I'd keep her outside, spend as much time as you can with her, and get her a flock mate as soon as possible. Watch to make sure she's eating and drinking. Good luck.

I have had mixed results with a mirror before, she was a bit freaked out the last time but maybe I will give it a go. Thanks!
