It's true. Money is what is on most people's minds nowadays. And the people who dont worry about it spend anywhere from 3.99 to 6.00 on store "farm fresh" (still probably 30 days old by the time they pick them up), vegetarian, cage free... the different labels on eggs blow my mind. I have decided we need more farmers markets around. Too bad we cant replace grocery stores with those. Or too bad more people wont raise their own food sources.
". It is a shame that they will eat at fancy resturants and pay thru the nose to eat a small handful of "fresh, quality, organic food." I charge $4 for an 18 pack or $3 per dozen. I don't lower my price and I don't appologize for the price, or when I run out. I'm not a grocery store and the quality customers I have, appreciate the labors of love I go thru daily.
Some people are just afraid that home-grown eggs are unhealthy because they aren't inspected.
