I didn't say treat, just keep em clean. Just wipe em down once a week, rake soiled waster from under them once a week, etc. Clean the board and nestboxes too by wiping them down. If there's hay or straw replace frequently. This helps prevent eggs from hatching in the cage and reinfesting.

When you say treat cages...
What am I treating with? We have wire cages that have at least one piece of 2x4 under each, chunk of plywood to sit on, and the girls have nest boxes because I thought we might have bunny magic (we don't...)

You don’t put nest boxes in until you’ve counted about 25 days after breeding, otherwise it can confuse things. You can put them in around 21 days because so does like to fuss....but try to keep track of the schedule so you know exactly when things are expected, how are born alive, etc..I make a chart..it helps for the future when you need to look back.

2/3 buns are super sweet. Just gotta bide time and work on socializing the 3rd.

One dose of revolution for cats cleared them up in 3 days and they never came back

A new snag in bunny treatment.
Clover Bun has some eye irritation from the baby oil.

I have either sterile saline, like contact solution. Or, a VetRx product I bought anticipating birth of goat kids, in case they get goopy eyes.
Either of those products help him? Leave it alone?

I'm surprised that pouring a few to several drops in their ears would reach their eyes. I can't say I've seen that happen. Nest box eye is the only eye issue I've had.

It sounds like if it's reaching their eyes that it might be too much oil. You only need a few drops down the ear canal. I'd flush with the sterile saline or just wipe it off with some warm water, then use less oil in the future and then watch for other developments. If it develops into a problem beyond irritation terramyacin's the proper eye antibiotic, but it shouldn't if it's just mild irritation.

Ok, new problems.
The oil is really making Delilah Bun ears better. Now at the 2x a week treatment.

HOWEVER

This is Clover Buck.
Remember I mentioned his eye? Maybe it wasn't oil in his eye. He's still squinty. Check out the red on his inner and outer lids.

AND

The heck is going on back of his neck?!
Asking in a FB group as well. I don't see evidence for ringworm. Looking like fur mites?
It was mentioned to me that environment can carry these parasites to my Buns. Could my hay possibly contain mites from wild rabbits? We feed the same grass hay to the goats, and one pasture suddenly developed lice too! I treated the goats, both pastures, with sulfur powder and it immediately killed the lice. Can I use sulfur on Buns? I'm thinking no. Permethrin poultry dust?
