Okay Jay, I set the eggs in the egg carton to. This is day 18 they are due on Thursday. I just cant wait i wanted to try it now.

mine have done beautifully this way, it was a staggered hatch and the last of them will be hatching today.

I also love the idea of hatching in the egg carton, wish I had known that 3 days ago.

I'm going to use this method, as well. I'm just at the start, setting my eggs tomorrow.

I put my next little batch (3 eggs) in last night and have a pip now on one of them. It sure worked well for my blue orps last week-end.

Unfortunately my eggs are being as still as ever so I won't know for another day or two. The drawback to this method........ Well I can't see the eggs rocking like you can when they are on their side..... Fortunately I have to go back to work so I have something to do other than stare at ten eggs in a carton in the hatcher........
