Oops, I forgot where I was.

When I first moved to the city, I smiled and made eye contact with anyone who looked at me. I no longer do this, as I had alot of strange people approach me/ A city friend told me not to do that anymore.

My hubby learned the hard way that a country gal does not do well in the city.

Where's that? I thought we called pedestrians moving targets.

eenie,
Try riding a bicycle, you'll understand why Imp got rid of his, just before http://bestsmileys.com/dead/4.gif

Imp- It won't be politer, but you could try "winking" at cars.

Poor Imp, I hope it didn't leave a mark. I did try riding a bike, but I ended up getting sidetracked by the gorgeous Geo Metro parked outside JB's house. Yes, it got rear ended. But I love Geo Metros.

Hmm, there's an idea.

I'm appalled. I'll wave if I see you.

Well, I'm actually about an hour away from Seattle, but apparently in this spot it's creepy to wave.

Its like code switching when we leave our home town and drive to the near by town. If you wave there you must be a preverted SOB. Back home if you don't wave you must be hiding something and are going to be talked about very rudely to the neighbors.

I figure its better to wave anway.
