Oops... I may have gotten some chicks!

We are getting rid of our old layers that don't lay anymore and getting 15 new chicks. I really want to get some pretty ones that lay blue or olive.
Easter eggers can lay pretty much any color, but my four lay light blue and green! If you want to go the pure route, there are CCL, Ameraucana, Araucana, Olive eggers are also a really cool mix. I don't have any hens yet myself, so I am trying them out with my 3 new chicks!

YES TELL THAT TO MY MUM!!! Our coop is about 20 square feet, and their free range area is about half an acre.
Time to build another coop! LOL, jk but seriously you can never have too much space... and you know what that means! More space= MORE CHICKENS!
Lol I may have a chicken issue, I am aware, I'm not sure that I want to do anything about it though :lau

We have 13 pullets and hens right now, but of course I want more! We are zoned for only 12 birds and no roosters, so I might need to wait on my dream. Our two older hens who had stopped laying after a raccoon attack just started laying again :idunno. We don't cull the hens who stop laying, so there's usually a pretty big lag between our chick batches. I'm so envious of all of you!
