My oldest are just now only a year old, so I haven’t been faced with keeping hens that aren’t laying anymore. Knowing me, they won’t go anywhere! They will live out their happy days here where they started! I love them too much lolWe have 13 pullets and hens right now, but of course I want more! We are zoned for only 12 birds and no roosters, so I might need to wait on my dream. Our two older hens who had stopped laying after a raccoon attack just started laying again. We don't cull the hens who stop laying, so there's usually a pretty big lag between our chick batches. I'm so envious of all of you!
