Ok, so for those of you that chimed in on the other thread determining that Opal is an Owen and Hinky is a he, and thanks so much for doing so, here's the rest of the bunch from the same guy... and just for kicks to make sure I'm not loosing it, the four I got on friday from another person.

These four are all around 4 months? If there's not pullets, I'm going back to him and asking for a trade.

Pretty, a black sex link?

Red, a RIR?

In the front, Zebree, a Barred Rock?

Finally, Topaz, a red sex link?

And for the newest four, they are 10 weeks....

Liberty, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte

Summer, the Welsumer, Stormy, a Blue Maran and Dot, a Splash Maran.

You all are awesome!!! Thanks for helpin' a newbie out!!!

Pretty - don't know
Red - looks like one of my red sex link females
Zebree - female barred rock
Topaz - red sex link
Liberty - no idea but it's beautiful
Summer - don't know
Stormy - female
Dot - female

red, stormy, and dot are all cockerels. reds saddles should be able to be seen coming in when you part the feathers at the base of the tail and his hackles should be changing to be slider and pointed as well

Are you positive on Stormy and Dot? The breeder was pretty sure they were pullets.... I will for sure contact her if they aren't. That is a big no want as I wanted Maran Hens specifically.

red, stormy, and dot are cockerals. You can see the darker shoulder patches coming in on Red, should start getting some pointed feathers soon (neck and back).

Unless those Marans are going to lay eggs in the next few days(which they arent old enough to), they are cockerals

PS, you are right on all the breeds too

I agree, red stormy and dot are boys. Your four month pullets have way less comb and color than those young boys.
You look right on the breeds, too.
Absolutely give the sellers a chance to make it right. I'd be quite upset if I made an honest mistake and someone didn't give me a chance to right it.

if you trade the marans for hens make sure if they are that age that they have smaller pink/yellow/white colored combs and no wattles wish i had a pic to give you for a reference maybe someone else here does for you
