Thank you @Miss Lydia Ive been trying a few of those suggestions.

Roxby hasn’t wanted to eat today, other than his favorite food banana. He’s starting to feel light and he’s been open mouth breathing all day.

I left him inside on his cot, he sleeps inside when he doesn’t feel well and only goes out with the others when he’s feeling strong enough, while I went out to speed clean his cage “cage 2” and cage 1 which his brother’s in alongside. Normally I clean them once a week to a week and a half but I lapsed to two weeks because I’ve been busy with Roxby not feeling right.
When I got to his brother Helios’s cage I found that Helios has been dumping his feed bowl and burying it with shavings somehow, this has been a habit of his off and on, or I somehow managed to cover the spilled feed one day and didn’t notice it somehow.
. For some reason, probably the excessive moisture we’ve had the last few weeks, the crumbles had completely molded and there was a 3 x 2 feet mat of blue grey mold across the ground under the shavings.
Helios, Dandelion, and Friday “residents of cage 1” aren’t showing symptoms that I can tell so far, the other residents of cage 2, “Apricot and Friday” seem alright, but Roxby has a delicate immune system because of his illnesses he’s had to go through this year which puts him at higher risk of catching other illnesses.
So there’s a strong chance this could be asper.

I’m heartbroken and feel like I failed him thinking about this. I don’t want to lose my little boy.

I wonder if he can be treated for ingesting a toxin? like with Activated charcoal?

Or do you think he may have inhaled some of this moldy feed? I would try nebulizing with Oxine ah. I use Oxine ah to clean my roosts my chickens sleep on and
poop on and also spray the bedding after cleaning the shaving where my ducks and geese sleep.

I'd try both the activated charcoal and the Oxine ah.

I’m already doing both. My geese have mycoplasma so I was nebulizing him in the evenings when he came in. I gave him a little activated charcoal yesterday and he had a whole pill of it this morning because it’s said to relieve gas.
I’m just hoping for a miracle.

He just ate a big bunch of his dinner, almost the whole bowl. He’s always been a night eater but I’m praying this is a sign he’s maybe starting to feel npbetter, and maybe he’ll be okay.

My worry is that he inhaled spores and that’s why he’s gaping.

When he first started doing it a few days ago I wondered about asper and started researching it again, but then I noticed the gaping only happens when he seems to have issues digesting, like when he’s having a hard time swallowing.
So I thought that it could be some sort of issue with him getting bloated and his intestines, gizzard or something pressing on his lungs or esophagus.
But now that I’ve seen the mold I can’t rule out that he has a stomach issue that’s now complicated by asper.
The two cages are only a foot apart, there’s a big piece of plywood between them to block their view of each other because Roxby was stressing himself out too much pining after Dandelion and Helios, but if his immune system is compromised it could lead to him catching it. There was a lot of mold.

I’m scared for the others sake too. 😞

I hope it is a good sign. Keep me updated on how he is doing.
Great to hear he ate so good.
All you can do is keep watch for any symptoms. And get on it right away. Or you could nebulize the others anyway.

I don't feed inside coops but even outside I use those trays that go under washing machines to catch water I put them under the feed bowls so any spilled feed makes clean up easier.

I might try the tray idea. I hope it’s not to late.
