open mouthed breathing and quivering

Came home to find my 2 7 wk coturnix with their mouths open and beak/neck quivering. They are walking about, I watched them drink water but worried. Its the first real hot day hi 80's after a week of 50's and raining...are they too hot???

If they are all doing it, I would say yes, they are over heated. Put some ice cubes in their water. Mist them with water and put a fan on them. That will cool them down. Keep them out of direct sun.

Thank you!!!! One has stopped after laying an egg. The male is slowing down as the temps go down.
