At 9 weeks, the only one I'm not positive on is the splash Wyandotte. It's not a great pic, but that looks like a lot of red in the comb. Can you get a better pic?

it is a hen, my silver laced hen had more comb at that age xD.
Thanks for the input on my BLRW. I'll give it another week or so and then see how they are all looking. Sticky, the one we are discussing was just that, stuck in the shell and gooey as heck. She pipped but couldn't zip, maybe malpositioned?? Anyhow, I chipped away at the shell a bit at a time until she kicked out by herself. What a gooey mess!! dried like hair gel! I got as much off as I could with a wet paper towel, but that was one funny looking chick for a while. LOL
The friendliest and most curious chick is the Barnevelder. Actually enjoyed being stroked on the back this afternoon and just stood there, still as can be, the whole time. Pretty cool! The other 3 are NOT inclined to be still, and act like I'm killing them when I pick them up. Too bad, they get handled every day, protest as they may.![]()
