Opinions on why my dog always has a tummy ache? Help please!

And I might add that you should get a thing from the vet to be able to collect a stool sample before you go so you can have that analyzed.
There is a chance he ate something like part of a tennis ball, or something from the yard.
There is also a slight chance he has worms.
But 10 pounds in 2 weeks IS alarming and I really really think you need to have him seen by a vet.
He also could have a food allergy.

BUT i you put him on the hamburger/chicken and rice....
PLEASE REMEMBER
BOILED HAMBURGER OR CHICKEN AND BROWN RICE.
why boiled.. you can ensure no extra fat or grease is absorbed which could cause more issues than it fixes. and the brown rice is easier on the stomach.

Hope this helps

So he has been feeling so much better these past few days. He is eating readily again and is eating about half as much grass and is back to playing. I will probably call the vet and find out what he says. My other question is this-I put it together yesterday that he has a hernia. He has had this mark ever since we found him as a puppy. I never thought anything of it as the vet never said anything about it. What are the odds that this umbilical hernia could also be contributing to this?

Thank you all so much for your advice, it has helped me greatly!
