So the Murdoch’s closest to me just opened last year and only had spring chicks. This year, they had spring and fall. Because of that I have found myself with 8 new chicks. Unfortunately, they mixed all of the breeds they had together so I had to guess based on my past experience which chicks were aracaunas. Did I go good?

So many chicks have that pattern, so I think it's hard to say right now. Some pictures from other angles and in natural light might help. Even then, it could tough. EEs can have that pattern. I think brown leghorns and several others, too. My OEGB looked very similar from above. Do they have muffs and a beard, clean legs, etc? Some of those details might be helpful as well. They're adorable though!

I had to quit going to Tractor Supply for feed because those chicks would just end up at the register while I was in trance or something. So weird!
I set up autoship with Chewy for feed so I don't have to go to TSC or RK so much! 😆

Same, I was already having my dog food and dog meds shipped, so I added chicken feed and treats to that.
I'm actually going to add cat and dog stuff as well. Our dogs and one of the cats eat Freshpet, and it's getting to where we can't reliably find it in the stores close to us.

I was having the same trouble with the chicken feed I order. Since I started getting it from Chewy I haven't had a problem.

That's good to know. I did get scratch grains at RK last weekend. But I may add those to Chewy as well when I need them again. I had to go to RK for boots, so it was convenient. The only birds they had were meat birds and guineas though, lol. But I did look.
