I have 12 ducks that were suppose to be shipped today, but it's presidents day, do you think they'll ship them anyway and if they do will they be kept overnight and then have to be in transit longer? I also have an order of 39 chicks comming the week of the 25th, but I checked the weather for Iowa and its suppose to be snowing, I sure hope the post offices down there aren't delayed or close because of the snow. I'm in CT and its been pretty warm for the past few days, I just hope my ducks and chicks are okay.

Murray shipped to me once and they box showed up at the main post office Sunday afternoon. They called us as soon as it showed up and we drove downtown to get them, the post woman met us outside. So I think you will be fine. Remember the US Post office is always running even if they are not delivering that day. If it is GVT. holiday They cannot ship your order.

You may want to give the PO a call. I ordered some chicks for this week from McM and assumed they won't show up till tomorrow. Gues who called me at 7:00 am this morning and asked if I would stop by and pick them up. Just becasue there is no mail delivery, doesn't mean someone isn't there working. All chicks we alive and well. 25 Jerseys 6 Phoenix and 6 Silkies. Gonna have to take some cookies over to them next time I go to town.

That's true. There are 2 post offices right near me, I called to see which one they would end up at, but when I called there was no answer at either post office. Last time we ordered a bird, was from a breeder and he shipped overnight, but took 2 days to get to me

Murry McMurray chicks shipped yesterday. I got mine last night at 9:00pm. The sort center called me and I ran and got them. There were lots more orders there too. I sure hope those people came and got them

When I ordered ducklings from MM they actually were shipped from California. It took three days. My fingers are crossed yours are ok.

3 days! That's a long ride for the poor babies. Did you call and ask why they were shipped from California? Did they all make it?

I e-mail MMH and they said the ducks were shipping tomorrow, and should get to me Wednesday. I wonder if they had a late hatch or something. I just hope they're okay.
