ordered my new RIRp

I got an email today and it said they are going to ship to me on the 4th. So I should have them by Friday. I will post pics when I get them settled in.

I do have 1 question. Does chicken wings have to be cropped,(like other birds) to keep them from flying?

Chickens do not fly high or far. Bantams do have a tendency to be "flighty" in which case you may need to clip their wings to keep them from flying over fences but no, you don't really need to clip chicken wings.

How does the young chicks survive 2 to 3 days during shipping without food or water?

For up to 72 hours after they hatch, baby chicks are still ingesting their yolk sacs. This provides them all the nourishment they need. After 72 hours, their yolk sacs are gone and they need immediate access to food and water. Without it, they'll die.

well my chicks hatched on the 1st and they are shipping them to me on the 4th. That means they will arrive here on the 6th. So once again I ask how will they survive?

Well the babies arrived today. They all made it through there trip and are doing fine.
