Ordering online???

Has anybody ordered birds online. I would like to get more Cayuga ducks and was wondering if it’s even worth ordering or if I should wait until next spring. What companies are better than others. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I looked up purely poultry and it’s gonna cost more for shipping than the ducks. Your right it’s probably way to hot.

I am not sure which types of ducks they have but I find their shipping to be cheap.

Ok thanks. I will do. I’m just debating on getting them too late or waiting until next spring because we get snow here in the winter time. I wouldn’t want to have to keep them In the house throughout the winter. This is my first year having backyard birds so I still have a lot to learn.

I ordered from Metzer and they shipped them to me here in Texas just this week. All four survived.

Texas is a little closer than clear across the USA and this heat wave is going to be bad. What state are you in @Lrosell31 There maybe hatcheries closer.

Fall Like Sept. by 6 weeks they would be old enough to be outside.

Pretty hot there to this time of year. Best thing to do is talk to the hatchery they can tell you if its safe to ship to your state in summer. Or when is best time so you can get them outside before cold weather hits.
