Has there been a final area decided at Timber Linn Park in Albany?
Does anyone know if we bring our 12 foot trailer attached to a large truck if there will be a place to park something that long? Jen
I really really hope I don't have to be in lab....
If all goes well, I was planning on just driving around... perhaps we should post what we'll be driving to help out in congregating? Meeting up with people in the car club was easy, just follow the other cars of your same make or ones that look like the ones posted online. LOL
I'll be in the car that is in my avatar, a red coupe. Lexus sc300.
Never been to the park so not sure what parking is like.
I think we'll just have to do like we did last time and just find a spot at the park once we get there. I know last time we were looking at a different part of the park and then ended up because it was crowded in another spot but everybody seemed to find us ok.
Jen, by looking at the aerial maps online, it looks like it shouldn't be a problem for you to bring bring your trailer. It will really depend on how crowded it is on Saturday.
It looks like there are 2 main parking areas. A South one by the baseball diamonds and a north one nearer the lakes. I say we try the north parking lot near the grass and lakes first.
there are three lots. middle lot is by picnic area. you cant miss it. it has a
huge open gravel lot so parking something
huge would be easy. you walk across a small wooden bridge into covered picnic area and play ground.
FYI, there is a Beaver game on Saturday, kickoff isn't till 4pm so it shouldn't cause too much trouble as we're meeting earlier but I know both directions of I5 can get pretty messy heading in on game days. Not sure if there is a home Ducks game as well, but that may be something to consider for travel.
