I have lots of nice SQ Silkies, Jersey Giant chicks, some adult cuckoo Silkies, couturnix quail, Cuckoo Marans, Speckled Sussex and Blue and Buff Orpington. I could bring chicks or juveniles in any of those varieties. Oh ya, I also have a young pair of Auburn turkeys and several geese and ducks. Does anyone want guinea keets. They will be about 1 month old by then. Also working on a splash silkie pullet, SQ.

I
also have a bunch of Marans, a few EEs and a couple of Barred Rock in the brooder. In the incubator are lots of Welsummers, some Rhode Island Whites and a few Silver Laced Wyandottes. Ok, the RIWs and SLWs are in a hatchery's incubator, but I should have plenty to trade.

I've got a beautiful black and gold frizzle bantam cochin roo(4 months) and can have fertile eggs or hatch some black cochin bantams(both 1st place parentage, frizzle and non frizzled) or some from our splash frizzle araucana roo and americauna (have mult. colors)hens. I'm really looking for a polish hen to suprise my hubby with on our anniversary at the end of Oct. Any one know a polish keeper? Or a mille b. cochin hen friend?

Let me know if there is anyone out there wanting BC eggs. I will have them for 20 dollars for six but you need to plan ahead...I only have a limited supply. I have blue also.... plan ahead here as well...only will have probably a dozen only of these available. They are quality birds from good breeding stock. Willing to send particulars to those interested. I will have a couple extra BC roos from VERY dark eggs from top breeders. These have to be claimed in advance on tradies and I will bring em. I will not bring eggs or birds not spoken for as it is a biosecurity risk. I have some baby cochins both LF and SF (small Fowl) for those that a local and like that breed. Feel free to PM me. If time permits and someone wants a hatch done of any of the breeds I have listed LMK and we can plan ahead for the event

I like late morning to early afternoon.. any day works. Is it same place?

Has there been a location determined?? I'd love to come, won't have anything to trade, may be looking for a BLRW pullet(s) though. I'm on-call that weekend and have to be w/in 30 min of Corvallis...so if Albany is still on the list, I'd vote for that!

I'm new to the area, and have never been to a chicken swap, but I am definitely down for the 10th, if I can convince someone to watch my children... I would be interested in an Appenzeller hen, if anyone will have one or will have one in the next 6 months or so. My current ladies are about 4 months old. I have a Lakenvelder, Welsummer, Black and Gold Ameraucana, and a blue wheaten Ameraucana. Thanks!

Forgot to mention...

I am also interested in possibly adding a wheaton Maran or a birchen Maran, and maybe a blue laced red Wyandotte. And just in case I can't make it to the swap, does anyone within a couple hours of Portland have any of these available as juveniles? Thanks!!!

Ok, 3 weeks from tomorrow. How about we say a noon meet? That's close enough to late morning and early afternoon.

Now we need to pick a location.

Salem or Albany.

Please vote for what you would like. If either works, then say that. I know I would prefer Albany, but I'll go to Salem. I know a couple that can't come unless it's Albany because of being on call.

So, let's try to decide on location:

Bil

I prefer Albany but Salem is close enough that it isn't a big deal either way.

If you want something from my list please contact me. I'll only bring what I have requests for. I will PM the people that I want birds from this weekend.

I noticed a lot of people want BLRW. I have six shipped eggs due to hatch tomorrow, if I get 50% it won't be enough for all the people that seem to want them (plus the one I want). I'll put in a hatchery order and bring them if there is enough interest.

I would like to come from Redmond (if anyone wants to carpool!), I will see how my Oct shapes up. I'll be looking to get laying hens and turkeys. I have two mutt roosters that are nice (BR/Aus cross and RIR/Aus cross) but I need the room for my new BLRW cockerels. I'm looking for BLRW, SLW, GLW, Brahmas, Delewares, Welsummers, Dominiques, EEers/Americaunas/Araucaunas, Suxxes, Orphingtons, New Hampshires, Giant Cochins, and Australops. Any combination of the above for egg laying hahaha!

Hoping I'll have my incubator by then!

For turkeys, I am open. I'm thinking about doing some quail and pheasants too, but we'll see.

The 10th at noon in Salem works for me!
