two in one! How many people are interested in Cream babanters?

I won't be bringing any birds (my quail just are not up for the trip) but I will be bringing home some quail!! WOO HOO!!!

So I see that the craigslist posting says 11. I guess we should change it to 11 then so non-BYC'ers are not alone.

P.S- To MYDAUGHTERLOVESCHICKENS, I am interested in the Mille Fleur Cochins. Do you have photos you can email to me?

I have a pair of peafowl I can bring... Presale only.. Not interested in any more birds.... too many

Have Cochin babies.... (may be crossed with marans)

Have maran babies

Have marans roos... free to bycers (choose color and breeding)

Have extra Pene roo.... 10 bucks...

Have a pene X marans for free from "reputable breeder".... NOT!!!

I might bring him just to show off...!!! ha ha

Note:.... I will not bring adult birds without a presale or promise to take... Just too much risk for me personally.

I am interested in heritage breed hens either pullet or already laying maybe year old?? Let me know .. any Cream Brabanter hens available? Is it getting too cold for chicks?

Also just wondering if anyone has ever thought to start a Portland/SW Wa swap???? I would help.

I don't think there would be any problem transporting birds in a car. I have transported birds from Stevenson Washington to my place which is even longer than Vancouver to Albany and I had no problems.

I agree with Playswithfowl, last year in Salem, it took us almost 2 hours to get up to the park because of traffic in Eugene. When I am transporting livestock (chickens or alpacas) as long as we are going 2 hours or less, I really never even worry about it. Longer than 2 hours then I plan stops and give them water and a rest of movement.

I don't know if I can make it or not, but I wouldn't mind maybe giving Rusty a spot in the coop with 3 girlfriends. How much do you want? And if I can't make it, what part of the valley are you in?
