Oregon Fall Poultry Swap - October 22 - Corvallis @ the Fairgrounds!!!

Yes! My old yorkie that passed away 3 years ago, was great about ratting but my yorkie now is a little bit of a scaredy cat! She'd rather be inside and play with her toys lol

I have a Frenchie that caught a rat! She's crazy as far as Frenchies go!

I have a lot of books that I like to pass on. I never keep fiction novels. They get passed to me by my sister who is in a book group where they actually read the books (!), I get some from friends and I pick them up from the discards at the Lake Oswego Library. Should I hang on to them and bring them to the swap? I'd love to pass them on to someone for free. I usually just give them to friend but I don't see her often anymore. Any interest in a book swap too?

Yes! I will bring a bunch as well if there is some interest, we could do trades or $1/ each or something like that. DH reads at least two paperbacks a week and I usually take them back to the used book store, goodwill or give away. I live in a very small appartment (on a big farm) and I run out of space for all of them fast.

Still have your DH on the list for tuna fishing..............

I'm glad everyone seemed to have a good day (and hopefully stayed cool)! Me too

He's ready! Nothing like home canned tuna! I canned 4 or 5 tunas last summer and have only 2 jars left. They are mine...I hid them. The stuff you get at the grocery store is blech

compared to the fresh canned stuff. And of course you know how expensive 'Oregon' tuna is from the local canneries.

OK, I'll just stash my books away until the swap, if I can stand it. I like to get them outta my house.
