The hills aren't any better! The town of Summerhaven in the mountains is at 7700 ft/2300m and it's still 110°/43C there in August. There's no escaping the hell months!

Extremes of weather of any kind are miserable, did you see Australia? Parts of there were around 50C! Crazy!

I live in the Australia of North America. Hm. That actually makes a lot of sense when you look at it that way.

OK, I have to admit this is a new one ! A negative one F degree! Not counting any windchill.
I’ve been here over 30 years. This is the first time I’ve seen an actual negative number for the temperature.

-3F at 4AM now at 7AM +3 today it will go up to cold.. 'Nuff said.

Speaking of Australia - it is 24C (75F) here on the west coast at 8.18PM
Has been a bit warm for several days now - including being the hottest place in West Aust on one of those days - but it did rain heavily for about 20mins yesterday - just so it could be real muggy as well.
I do prefer heat to cold - but muggy is not supposed to be a thing below the Tropic of Capricorn - least wise it did not used to be.
