Since this post got brought back to the top:
My fig trees gave me a bad scare. It got to only a fraction of a degree above freezing in the garage so I moved them into the house.
The leaves immediately all died and fell off. I was frantically trying to figure out what I'd done wrong, checking moisture, fertilizer, air temps, light..... My poor figs!
And now they are all putting on nice new leaves. The ungrateful things went dormant and scared the pants off me.
So, folks who got fig trees from me at the Swap. If they drop all their leaves, just keep taking care of them and they will come back better than ever.
